One of the largest and most highly anticipated races of the year is less than a month away! The 2023 Mugen Challenge will be held at LCRC Raceway in Oakland Mills, PA on August 17th - 20th, 2023. This email will contain everything you need to know before you attend this event. This information is for anyone from Newbie to Regular LCRC Racer!
FAQ:
Q: Where do we pre-register for the Mugen Challenge?
A: There is no pre registration for this event, you can sign up when you arrive!
Q: How do we sign up to attend the Drake Clinic?
A: The clinic will be available for registration online on LCRCRaceway.com. A separate email will announce the date and time that the clinic registration will open. There are limited spots that generally sell out quickly.
Q: Where are the closest hotels?
A: We detail out all the local amenities on our Visitors Guide, including local food, groceries, attractions, and lodging.
THURSDAY
If you have attended past Mugen Challenge events, you know that our open practice on Thursday and Friday often led to long lines, and lots of waiting to get on the track. This year we have instituted an organized practice based on the classes you register for. Select classes will practice between specific times described below. This will shorten the wait times, and concentrate the drivers practice to a specific time frame. We based the classes in each time frame on past entries to maximize the amount of track time for each racer. Racer's will receive wrist bands at sign up for their particular practice slots

If you are in a camper or a trailer, you must stop next to the building and check in before you park. If you arrive over night, you may park on the road until we are able to park you in the morning.
We are so proud to be able to offer 30 and 50 amp hook ups for campers and trailers at our facility! You can see those spots numbered on the map above. These spots are currently sold out for Mugen Challenge. We do have a waiting list, and if you'd like to be added, call 717-463-9173.
