The Flash Point Season Opener - April 16- 19th, 2026

Can you believe it?! We are preparing to kick off the 2026 race season with the Flash Point Nitro Racing Fuel Season Opener at LCRC Raceway — April 16–19, 2026!

This is always one of our favorite weekends of the year — we love the energy of a brand-new season! So we wanted to break the weekend down one day at a time so you can start planning now. (And yes… this also means it’s time to book your lodging and get those builds done 😉)

Let’s walk through the weekend ⬇️

🔥 THURSDAY — Practice & Early Arrival Day
📅 April 16, 2026

If you’re the kind of racer who likes to shake things down before race day, Thursday is your day! Spend the day shopping the hobby shop, and preparing for your most fun season of racing yet!

🛠 Off-Road Practice: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📝 Sign-Ups & Hobby Shop Open: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This is a great chance to:
• Get comfortable with the track
• Test setups
• Grab last-minute parts from the hobby shop
• Beat the rush before the race weekend really ramps up

Low pressure, lots of laps, and the perfect way to ease into the weekend.

FRIDAY — Practice, Sign-Ups & LCRC Social Night
📅 April 17, 2026

Friday is when the pits really start filling up and the excitement builds!

📝 Sign-Ups & Hobby Shop Open: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
🏁 Off-Road Practice: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
🎉 LCRC Social Begins: 7:00 PM

And yes… the Social is back! 🙌
We’ll have:
🍔 Food Trucks: Olivia's Fresh Cut Fries & Que by Du!
🎶 Music
🎯 Cornhole Tournament

Whether you’re racing or just hanging out, Friday night at LCRC is always a vibe.

🏆 SATURDAY — Race Day Begins
📅 April 18, 2026

This is when things get serious (but still fun 😉).

Late-Comer Practice: 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM
📝 Sign-Ups: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
📢 Drivers Meeting: 8:00 AM
🏁 Racing Begins Immediately After Drivers Meeting

👉 Welcome to LCRC: We are SO excited you’re here.

We know showing up somewhere new can feel overwhelming. You’ve seen the videos, heard the hype, and decided to make the trip—but now you’re wondering where do I go, where do I pit, and how does this all work?
We’ve got you covered 👇

🪑 PITTING

Pitting is available throughout the facility at LCRC!

Pit Lot 1 is a great place to set up for the weekend
• No reservation required (first come, first serve)
• Gravel pitting with electric available throughout

Want to be closer to the action?
• Limited 10x10 tent spaces are available in “Tent City” near the hobby shop

🧰 What to bring:
EZ-Up, table, chair, and extension cord

Important:
The numbered spots on the map are reserved camper & trailer spots with electric

🚘 PARKING

To keep as much room as possible for pitting near the track:

• Cars must be parked in the car parking area near the rear of the facility
• You may pull up to your pit space to unload
• Please move your vehicle after unloading

This helps us keep everything flowing smoothly all weekend 🙌

🏕️ CAMPING / CAMPERS & TRAILERS

If you’re bringing a camper or trailer:

• Please stop near the hobby shop and have an LCRC staff member assist with parking
• This helps us fit as many racers as possible and keep everyone close to the track

⚡ Electric hookups are only available for racers with reserved numbered spots
• All campers must check in before parking
• Please pull forward enough to keep roadways clear

🏁 FACILITIES QUICK GUIDE

• 📝 Sign-Ups: Inside the Hobby Shop at the checkout counter
• 🚿 Wash Station: Side of the building away from the track (water + compressed air)
• 🧒 Kids Play Area: Between the Off-Road Track and the Oval
• 🚻 Port-O-Potties: Located throughout the facility

If you have questions at any point, just ask—our team is here to help.
Relax, settle in, and enjoy the weekend.

✨ Did you know? The Flash Point Season Opener is also Round 1 of the LCRC Raceway Seasonal Points Championship! The 2026 Points Series includes the first 6 official scheduled events of the season. Racers will accumulate points across those events, with champions and top finishers recognized at our Awards Dinner Banquet following the 2026 Halloween Classic. 🏆🎉 Let the countdown (and the hype) begin… we can’t wait to see you all back at the track! 💙💛🙌

💙 Welcome to the LCRC race family. We’re glad you’re here.
