2023 Flash Point Season Opener Results
We are incredibly grateful to all the racers and their families that attended this fantastic event! What a way to kick off 2023! Our Flash Point Season Opener host 266 racers this past weekend.
The event kicked off on Thursday with Practice. Friday practice was held from Noon to 7 pm, directly followed by the LCRC Social. We were so excited to invite our favorite Italian restaurant, "Sal's OIP" for amazing food choices, as well as w corn hole tournament, and fantastic music! Its great to see all the racers gather together for a fun event to kick off the race.
Saturday was unfortunately cut short due to rain, but the LCRC "6 AM Crew" got to work early Sunday morning to get racing underway first thing. (Check out a video short of the Sunday morning work.) We were able to host another round of qualifying and all the mains, while still wrapping up the event by 5:00 pm. (Check out a video short of Sunday's racing.)
We couldn't be any more grateful for the fantastic racers, and especially Flash Point R/C for continue to sponsor our first event of the season!
