LCRC Presents: The Flash Point Season Opener April 24 - 27, 2025
From all the staff at LCRC, we are incredibly excited to welcome you back for the 2025 Season at LCRC Raceway to our first event of the year: The Flash Point Season Opener on April 24th - 27th!
Below are all the details for the event, but I wanted to also mention, although we open the track for practice on Thursday and Friday, if your schedule doesn't allow for you to be gone so long, we offer practice on Saturday morning for those who did not attend on Thursday or Friday that can often get "late comers" more practice than those who have been here for days prior!
If your able to come on Friday evening, we would love for you to come to the LCRC Social! We have food trucks on site including Olivia's Fresh Cut French Fries and Duane Hart with an awesome selection of Smoked Meats, as well as a Corn Hole Tournament, A Fire Pit, Music, and more! Just arriving during the social? You can sign up for racing at the Corn Hole Tournament table, but we might just talk you into playing!
ENTRY: $50 Cash per class ($60 Credit Card)

Thursday, April 24th : 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Thursday will kick off the first day of practice from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm!! Remember, after your practice, you need to take your turn marshalling on the track. Thursday is a great day to shop in the LCRC Hobby shop from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. Sign Up will be open during the hobby shop hours. Remember to bring your transponder numbers with you when you register.
THURSDAY:
Offroad Practice 12-8 pm
Sign Up & Hobby Shop Open 11 - 5 pm
Friday, April 24th: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Friday we will continue practice for the Flash Point Season Opener from Noon to 7:00 pm. Remember to marshal after you get drive time on the track. The Hobby Shop will be open from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, with sign up available in store throughout the day. Uncle Harry at Leach's Concessions will be serving up the best burgers around, and much, much more throughout the day.
🕺We are SO excited for our first LCRC Social! For the Flash Point Season Opener! The festivities kick off at7️⃣pm, with registration for the Corn Hole Tournament. Registration is $5 per person with payout to the top 3 teams! 🍟🍕Make Sure to Come Hungry!! Olivia's Fresh Cut French Fries and Duane Hart will be on site with delicious food!

Race Day: Heats - Saturday, April 26th
Late Comer Practice will only be for racers who did not practice on Thursday or Friday and will run from 6:30 am - 8:00 am. The mandatory Drivers Meeting will be held at 8:30 am, with racing directly following. Racers in the 1/8 Novice Class and the 1/10 Scale Class are generally first, and should come to the drivers meeting prepared to race.

At LCRC, we set our schedule around finishing racing on Sunday by 5:00 pm. On Saturday evening, we will set up the race order, and run a time table to estimate the finish time.
