19th Annual East Coast Race Against Cancer

We are closing in on one of the best races of our season, what we fondly refer to as "RAC". This race against cancer has been raising money for the American Cancer Society for 20 years, hosting 19 events that have raised over $192,000! We would love to have you attend this race and help us raise money for a great cause. In this email, you will find everything you need to know for the race in one place.
Track Practice: Day 1
Thursday, September 16th: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The track will be open for practice on Thursday for early comers.
Oval Racing: Nitro Latemodel Showdown
Thursday, September 16th starting at 8:00 pm
We will be hosting a Nitro Late Model Showdown on Thursday at 8:30 pm. Although we wish we could hold the entire Oval Racing Program, we are limiting it to just the Nitro Late Model Showdown due to parking limitations for Oval Racers, as well as time constraints in the weekend. Allow the 1/8 scale Nitro Late Model racers to entertain you Friday Evening directly following practice. This is a change from our original schedule.

We will be hosting the second day of practice on Friday, as well as opening sign up from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. 
LCRC Chinese Raffle - Open to the Public
Friday, September 17th
LCRC is proud to host a Chinese Raffle for the general public to participate in our fundraising efforts! We are encouraging our community to come and purchase raffle tickets for their chance to win amazing prizes! Sheets of Raffle Tickets will be available for sale from Noon til 7:30 pm, with the winners being pulled right before we kick off the band for the social at 8:00pm. We are still accepting donations, and you can see the prizes being offered at https://www.facebook.com/events/350363496800000
Directly following the conclusion of the raffle, stick around to hear Steel Horse, a fantastic local Classic Rock Band. We will have corn hole boards, and games to enjoy. Food trucks will be on site, as well as donuts for sale courtesy of Sparky's Mini Donuts.
