Chassis, Drivetrain & Suspension

Equipped with a low-CG chassis, the Rustler 4x4 VXL ensures responsive handling and improved stability, even at higher speeds. The modular composite tub design and latching battery hold-down make maintenance and battery swaps quick and hassle-free. Maxx-duty driveshafts and sealed steel gear differentials provide maximum strength and reliability, while the heavy-duty slipper clutch with aluminum pads ensures smooth power delivery to the wheels. Electronics

The Rustler 4x4 VXL is powered by Traxxas' Velineon brushless motor and VXL-3S™ waterproof electronic speed control, delivering exhilarating speed and acceleration. The Velineon motor features ultra high-temperature sintered Neodymium magnets and efficient ball bearings for maximum power and efficiency. Paired with the Traxxas Stability Management system, which improves straight-line acceleration and braking on low-traction surfaces, the Rustler 4x4 VXL offers unmatched control and precision.
