The RC Academy exists to bridge the gap between passion and performance.

This is more than an event—it’s an immersive, high-level training experience designed to elevate RC drivers into professional racers. By bringing together the most respected drivers, mechanics, and industry leaders, the Academy creates a rare opportunity to learn not just what works, but why it works—directly from those who have mastered it.

With intentionally limited entries, every moment is built for impact. This is hands-on, focused, and personal—where raw talent is refined, confidence is built, and the path to competing at the highest level becomes clear.

The goal is simple: To transform driven individuals into polished competitors—ready to race at a professional level and represent sponsors and the sport with confidence, professionalism, and purpose.

Confirmed Instructors:

• Adam Drake is one of the most respected and accomplished drivers in RC racing, known for his success at the highest levels of 1/8 off-road competition. A multi-time national champion and consistent podium finisher at the world level, Drake has built a reputation not only for his speed on the track, but for his deep technical knowledge of engines, setup, and his level of professionalism. Through decades of competition, product development, and mentorship, he has become one of the most influential figures in the sport—making him an invaluable resource for drivers looking to elevate their program.
• Paul Ciccarello is a highly respected and accomplished competitor in the world of 1/8 off-road RC racing, known for his consistency, technical knowledge, and competitive success at the national level. A ROAR National Champion and frequent podium finisher at major events across the country, Paul has built a reputation as both a skilled driver and mentor. Beyond his results on the track, he is not only a proven competitor, but an exceptional mentor for drivers looking to elevate their performance.
• Vin Manchanda is the regional representative for Team Associated, as well as a long time educator in multiple forms of racing. The RC Academy came from his passion to continue the education inside RC Racing and bring racers to the next level of competition, driving our Hobby to new heights. 
• Jason Schreffler is a long time 1/8 offroad racer, who is revered for his long standing success in the hobby. As a current Sparko driver, he continues to lead the charge to hone the setup of his vehicles and mentor fellow drivers. m
• Mike Eglberger is a Tekno sponsored driver for the past 10 years, co host and Tech expert of the Slow is Fast podcast, and long time RC geek with a passion for RC mechanics and setup. His knowledge and abilities extend him to be a great support for the technical needs throughout the RC Academy.
