When JConcepts hits the track with new items – you just feel it. First debuted at the Florida Carpet Championships the fresh new wheels bring out a hint of inspiration from the past with that edge JConcepts is known for. The new Pioneer wheels for the modern 1:8th truck class have unique features and aesthetics unseen before. While looking at a 1989 Masami Hirosaka replica, Jason Ruona had a 3D vision of recreating an iconic variation. The pop-out panels of the Pioneer wheels add new looks in a positive direction while the home position remains for the proper offset, and mounting characteristics.

Fresh outer ribs drop in between the sectional panels and a radial ring around the wheel nut area. The ribs connect the 6 optional screw location areas created to represent adaptors used during the golden age of RC. The Pioneer wheels are for show and go, racers who want a new look, high-end performance and a variety of color combinations will reach for the new wheels in 2025 and beyond. JConcepts offer titanium screws that work perfectly with these wheels, available separately, and in two different colors, burnt blue (#5037-1), and stealth black (#5037-2).

 

The dimensional aspect of the wheels matches the winning Mono wheels, have an industry standard offset and are produced in durable material, inner reinforcing ribs and stout 17mm hex area pack this design. The 4 pack of wheels will be available in popular colors bright white, and fluorescent yellow. In addition, #gojconcepts will add retro pink for additional options under the RM2 line-up of product.
